Shea Homes has acquired Ocean Place, a 10.86-acre landmark coastal community within the highly desirable Old Town area of Seal Beach, California.
Ocean Place will consist of 30 luxury single-family detached homes anticipated to be two-story homes ranging in size from approximately 3,000 to 5,600 square feet with roof decks to take advantage of commanding blue water, Catalina, and marina views.
Adjacent to the San Gabriel River, a stone’s throw from the Los Alamitos Marina, the community offers residents ease of access to major transportation corridors, proximity to employment and recreational amenities, and award-winning schools. Approximately 6.4-acres within Ocean Place have been designated as a visitor-serving open space park, which shall be owned and maintained by the City of Seal Beach.
Located off of Marina Drive on the border of Orange and Los Angeles Counties, Ocean Place is at the northern gateway to Orange County’s 42 miles of coastline and has a strong commuting location proximate to the Interstates 405, 605, and 710, as well as the Pacific Coast Highway. Ocean Place is conveniently situated within Old Town Seal Beach, one most walkable neighborhoods in Seal Beach, where most errands can be accomplished on foot along historic Main Street.

“Ocean Place is one of the last remaining coastal development opportunities of scale within Orange County and is destined to become one of the most sought after residential communities on the western seaboard. The community gives way for the development of a landmark twenty-first-century infill community, combining environmental stewardship with the development of a traditional residential neighborhood that meets the evolving needs of affluent buyer preferences.”
